The project is being designed with the objective of achieving a LEED Gold standard. The building’s design in part is derived from the desire to minimize heat loss. The landscape design focuses on ponds and streams that appear and disappear with the seasons. It was designed in 2002 and was the first timber frame building to be built in Korea in many years.
